Pakistan Army destroyed a dozen Indian posts and bunkers along the Kashmir border on Sunday, official sources said.
The action was in retaliation for the killing of 7 Pakistani Soldiers by Indian firing Monday morning.
Pakistani guns boomed in the Samba and Poonch sectors to “punish India for its continuous provocation and unchecked infiltration from across the border,” said a senior officer of the of the Pakistan Army.
He said that Indian soldiers had intruded into Pakistani territory in the Badglad area, about 55 km south-west of Jammu, and killed 7 troopers of the Pakistan Rangers and wounded two.
The rangers retaliated and the Indian fired mortars and artillery shells, which also fell in three Pakistani villages Chak Fakira, Suchetpur and Badglad.
