The Chief of Army Staff also paid a visit to Balochistan High Court after the hospital and sympathized with the lawyers.
Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Amir Riaz received the Army Chief upon arrival.
General Raheel Sharif paid a visit to wounded persons under treatment at the targeted Civil Hospital and expressed sympathies.
Earlier today, Lieutenant General Amir Riaz visited the hospital and reviewed relief activities underway.
He said that the army and law enforcement agencies were standing with lawyers community in this difficult situation.
Extremists are weak to the core and forces would defeat them at every cost, he said adding that targeting innocent citizens was extremely sad however, terrorists would never win against the determination of the entire nation.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has suspended the rest of his schedule for today and has departed for Quetta.
Earlier today, a condemnation statement was issued from the Prime Minister House within hours of which reports of his visit surfaced.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has announced a day of mourning following Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri s call for a three-day observation.
